Heather Backeberg started HB Interiors in August of 2019 after two decades in the furniture and design industry. ​

Heather began her career as a designer and manager for an upscale Chicago furniture retailer. She was promoted to Director of Training where she was responsible for providing design and sales education to over 350 designers. 

​

Drexel Heritage Furniture hired Heather in 2007 to provide sales training to dealers all over the country. In 2009, she transitioned to the manufacturing sales side of the business. Over the years, she has represented luxury brands like Henredon, Hickory Chair, Caracole, Maitland-Smith, Pearson and Lane Venture in the Chicago and Latin American markets.

 

With experience in every facet of the industry, Heather is uniquely suited to provide excellent service and counsel to her clients.

When she's not busy designing, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and playing tennis in the gorgeous Carolina weather.
